I ordered this gift for my daughters 9th birthday.

My only advice would be NEVER open the door while popping!!!!!!

I am like 90% of America and like popcorn and a movie. My son has friends over to watch movies. My daughter has friends over to watch movies. We enjoy "family night at the movies". All we've been missing is the popcorn. I decided to try another brand which failed miserably. I tried again with this popper. It works great and is just the right size for two or three to share.

I purchased this after watching a video on YouTube. I was a bit hesitant, but thought what the heck.
I am more than pleasantly surprised. If I'm making a snack for myself it's the perfect amount. If I'm making it for the whole family 2 batches is plenty. It's easy to use. It's easy to clean. My kids love watching the corn pop. And if you use the packets, it truly tastes like you're at a movie theater.
The aesthetics are nice; it has a nice 'throw back' feel to it. So far it seems to be well made and we've used it a fair amount, at least twice a week for the last month.

This is a great popcorn machine...we have no complaints about it. When we first got it, we had it making popcorn nearly around the clock. We got the little popcorn and oil packets, but when we run out, we'll get regular unpopped corn and use "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" along with it, and save money on our snack. The kids were thrilled, as was my husband, whose birthday gift it was.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT SOME OF THESE PEOPLE WHO IS REVIEWING THIS LITTLE POPCORN MACHINE IS DOING, BUT I JUST LOVE THIS MACHINE, THE POPCORN TASTE GREAT, I WILL ADMIT SOME OF THE POPCORN KERNELS COME OUT OF THE KETTLE WHILE THE POPPING IS GOING ON, BUT SOMETHING I HAVE GOTTEN USE TO. YOU DO HAVE TO MOVE THE PLASTIC TRAY FROWARD BEFORE EMPTYING THE KETTLE AFTER THE POPPING STOPS, AND FOR THE CLEANING, JUST REMOVE THE KETTLE OFF THE TWO HINDGES AND SCAPE OUT THE BURNT BITS WITH ONE OF THOSE LITTLE WIRE BRUSHES WITH THE HANDLE ON IT.
